How far from Jacksonville do you travel for flooring jobs?
Our regular area covers Duval, Clay, northern St. Johns, Nassau and Baker counties, which puts most addresses within about 45 miles of our west-side base. Customers have hired us as far south as St. Augustine. For anything farther out, call with the address and the size of the job and we will tell you plainly whether we can take it.
Do flooring rules change from one county to the next?
No, not for the license question. Florida law has barred local governments from requiring a license for flooring or tile job scopes since 2021. Permit practice does vary by building department, and properties in flood zones can trigger substantial-improvement reviews, so we check the local rules for each address.
Is my neighborhood on the list if it is inside Jacksonville?
